The Barn Accommodation

Apart from a microwave, the room was excellent and having a view out into a garden is always relaxing. I liked its proximity to Mount Gambier without being IN the city. The up-market restaurant was a complete surprise. The food was good and the service was excellent. Best of all was the accoustic quality. It was easy to chat across the table despite the restaurant being full of talkative people. Many restaurants have good food but very few are quiet enough.

The bed was very comfortable, and the room was spacious. The room we were assigned to had a lovely small garden at the back. Due to my tight schedule, I only stayed for one night this time and didn’t have the chance to explore or relax in the garden. I hope to return in the future and stay for a few more days to fully enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

Nice size rooms. Decent patio and surrounding gardens. Comfortable bed. Coffee bags rather than instant was a plus for me. Smart TV, handy for our kid. Also pretty decent gym and friendly staff. We didn’t avail of the minibar but the options were better than most.

Staff was very kind and gave us useful information. We could visit the sinkhole garden and feed possums while we had to wait for our booking time for dinner. It was much better than just watching TV in the room. The restaurant was great. We usually do not eat red meat very much for our health issue but when we eat, we would like to eat good one. The restaurant served us steaks perfectly. We had a great time. If we stay Mt. Gambier again, we will use the accommodation.

Room was comfortable and clean. Spa was clean and hot water service was sufficient to fill the bath! Quiet location and peaceful. Dinner at the Barn restaurant was great, food quality was good and service was okay. Great selection of drinks available. Check in was fast, efficient and welcoming. Check out was super fast.
